I haven't blogged for awhile, and that's because I have nothing to say. I haven't been doing much of anything, keeping the house cleaned, making small progress on getting rid of my stuff. I'm just waiting for Monday so I can go to the doctor. I will be getting tested for Lyme's disease, and also to see how I'm doing on my thyroid medication. I've stopped taking all supplements now, as I suspect anything and everything of causing my present difficulties. I have a list of symptoms as long as my arm. Every bug that bites annoys me. It is so buggy outside that the dogs don't want to go out for very long. They get surrounded by a cloud of mosquitoes very quickly.
I haven't been able to go into the garden at all, even to harvest greens and onions. The once-wide paths are disappearing in the jungle growth, but I remain inside. This is the green time of year that only looks good in pictures. I am already longing for colder weather. Reading a book about Labrador now, and it fascinates me that there is so much there, so many plants, animals, rocks, insects, foul weather and ice bergs moving down the Lab. current.
I have found out that if I sleep in the daytime, it relaxes me so much that I can sleep much better at night, also. This is a new thing. I always had trouble getting enough sleep before. There was some mechanism in my brain that kept jolting me into wakefulness. But the more I rest, the more I can rest, and apparently, this is what I need.
Well, tomorrow the doctor appointment with labwork, then on to see my daughter. We get to go to the new Super Walmart center and see what that is like, and they also have a brand new Arby's we may check out. My grandson is coming for a visit in August, so there's that to look forward to. Must get upstairs and give his bedroom a thorough cleaning.
