I dreamed that fractals were an important piece of the puzzle of human behavior, as well as of trees (trunk, branch, twig) and things.  Schools of fish, flocks of flamingoes are behaving in fractal formation.  Fractal theory could explain why, like father like son, history repeats itself, and we never learn from our mistakes.  Why haven't humans developed beyond the state of war, for example?  And there are many, many other examples.

The world is a predatory place.  Predators and prey.  The universe is predatory, as well, so leaving planet Earth will only bring us face to face with newer predators.  Life feeds on life.  Everything that is alive is feeding on other forms of life.  Everything that is alive now is riding the crest of a wave, a wave that will shortly fall.  But another wave comes right behind it.

Death is stalking us all the time, and we kid ourselves if we do not realize this fact.  We have to accept death as a possibility every day.  If we do, then we will remain circumspect and sober.

But this is not the point.  The point is that life itself, in all its forms, and in all its manifestations, is a fractal in action, too.   Because fractals are living things, like DNA.

Yes, I dreamed of fractals and woke up, sort of depressed.  What is God, and what are we in relation to God?  Are we fractals of God?  Why don't we advance in humanity?  Why is there still torture, rape, theft, murder, war, pillaging?  Is God learning anything from living vicariously through us?  Or are we all, including God, on a fractal rampage, living in accordance with each other, and unable to use all our faculties to achieve a better world?
